Sieur De Camandieu Viognier 2005
A new vintage of this Viognier of which I had last year. Opened to a fine bouquet of apricot, pineapple, spice and stones. On the palate it was light to mid-bodied, very balanced acidity, and a nice round and stoney minerality. Again a well made viognier from Languedoc, perhaps a little finer than the 2004. A lovely and soft aperatif wine. Bargain at $10.
