Cabernet D'Anjou Reserve Des Vignerons 2005
Supplied graciously by Greg for Phil's leaving dinner, a new vintage of our favourite rosé. Beautiful pale-pink, perhaps a little deeper than the last vintage, the bouquet was soft, delicate strawberry, hay, bread and biscuits. On the palate it was again superbly poised, probably with a little more red-fruit expressed than the 2004. Lovely body and finish. So elegant, so good.
